  1. Always try to renew your visa a week or two ahead of time unless maybe vacationing. This will give you time if something goes wrong. Passports do not let them expire since it takes time to renew them depending on the Country you reside. You go through the Embassy there and they mail it to you. In Thailand it took 5 weeks to receive my new passport. If you want a one year visa make sure you passport has the same amount of time and enough pages in your book. Always stay ahead of the game. Keeping your passport and visa up to date is very important. Do not wait to the last minute or you will regret it.
