@mojo9291 city had no perspectives under ukraine. Factories polluted the air, so it was place with worst ecology in ukraine. Owners of Azovstal didn't care about cleaning filters. Also Ukraine did some cosmetic thing like new parks, but never updated infrastructure, so everything was from Soviet time. Russia now making city modern, overhauling roads, installing new water pipes, renovating schools (I have videos on my channel about it). Also, Ukraine prohibited russian language since 2021, so it's one more reason to prefer Russia

They promissed to do it before February. Now it's too late for them, Russia is prepared. And people here don't want them to return.

@triforcelink there are 200k population in Mariupol now. I was born in Donetsk, moved to Mariupol in 2014. I have friends and relatives in Moscow, so i visited them.

@triforcelink i was in ukrainian cities (Kyiv, Poltalva), and i was in Russian cities (Rostov, Moscow). The difference is huge. And i see the intensivity of works that Russia is doing here (I uploaded some videos about it on my channel), so I think, year later it will be more developed than before war
