  2. ITBs means 100% of the time fuel injection. I would say a throttle body is not a carburetor as a throttle body is a ... throttle and it needs an injector somewhere to deliver fuel while the carb makes the throttle and delivers the fuel so it's different. I'm curious to see how you'll deal with the ECU, will you flash the thing ? Good luck man in your build!

  3. No issue for me either because either way his engine will sound GLORIOUS. I think this debate is just trying to prevent misunderstanding from people that are not as familiar with engines.

  4. A Carb has barrels, therefor a single carb has one barrel etc... So in total his engine has four barrels, so four intakes passages in which air (and fuel) flows creating power and later brapbrapbrap. I've never said carbureted engines don't have a throttle or bodies for them ;) Coming from a bike and car lover damnit

  5. I'm not an expert either, i do like engineering but i'm far from calling myself a trained engineer (even thought i'll eventually study and become one). I this case i can't tell if ITB is the correct term or not as each cylinder does has an individual throttle runner for itself but since ITB refers almost all the time to EFI cars, well the debate exist. If you ride a motorcycle, you can understand why knowing if a bike has carbs or EFI is important ;)
