  2. LOL, its not made for urban warfare - it has no armor and it cannot even elevate its gun close enough - it is more of a death trap than BMP-2.

  4. Wait Napoleon did take Moscow... but failed to destroy Russian army and thus lost the war. Russia should repay France kindly for this by supplying AT weapons to her enemies in Africa. Lets see how that light French armor does against sophisticated AT weapons. Will be fun to watch. I would not be shocked if AMX-10 were already in Ukraine - same for Bradley's.

  7. I already proven like 100x that 105mm F2 gun is no match for frontal armor of most T-72 models. It is simply not powerful enough. Even more powerful L7 gun was retired for a reason - it was simply not good enough.

  8. Iraq did not have any top of the line T-72s. They had the lowest oldest version possible. There is discussion whatever they had upgraded version or not.

  13. He is not smiling ear to ear about losses of his army and upcoming massive Russian offensive that will if not put an end to the war at least cut Ukraine in half. Getting 50 of these AMX-10s will not change much the outcome. What is needed is 1000 of these.

  14.  @datboi8921  Nothing - it never happened. It was never advertised by Russians anyway - it was just assumed by the west and some bloggers. Better question is - where is Ukrainian offensive?! This was advertised by their leader and like everyone else.

  15. Not really - it will be just a BMP style vehicle with bigger main gun. There is a reason BMPs have chain guns - and if they have bigger guns these are combined with chain guns. Single big gun - like BMP-1 are obsolete.

  16. Nah, I would rather be in T-62M. Better mobility in rough terrain due to tracks, much better armor, more capable main gun, stabilized gun, 2nd gen thermals.

  20. B/c Russians were smart - Napoleon was very unhappy about smart enemy. Hence his defeat just few months later. Smart move by Russian command (which was not very ethnically Russian - more like ... German).

  22. But they cannot destroy tanks - the F2 main gun would be lucky to go through semi modern T-72B frontally. It needs side or rear hit. Meanwhile its own armor is no match for even BMP.

  25. It destroyed basic model of T-72. So what? ISIS with its mighty Toyota destroyed 60 M1A1s of Iraqi army. With a pickup! Now that is something.
