  3. ​ @davidgavin7280  There are far more troops stationed on the Falklands than 80 marines in 1982. More military hardware, navel and air capability. I wouldn't mind betting there's always a submarine patrolling the waters as well.

  4.  @kadett75  Not going to be particularly easy trying to get ashore against a dug in defensive force though. At any time of the year. I doubt the Argentinians would want a drawn out conflict. Besides who knows what supplies they have there? I'm sure they have enough to make them think twice.
