She may have been small in stature but goodness me she was one hell of a woman. If your not a royalist like me, surely we have to give credit where credit is due, this woman ruled for 70 years, she never gave her opinion on anything just stayed neutral, and she did her duty with no complaints, right up until the end. She is the epitome of strength.

@will121 none of us have a choice into which family we're born, her included, she was born into a family that yes, allowed her privilege and wealth, and she had to take on a role she may have not wanted to take on but she did and did the British people proud, you on the other hand are also exceptional at your job of being a complete and utter prat.

@Th3Butcher76 I agree with you, I'm one of those people who've worked all their lives, and now find life really difficult just like millions of others, I didn't ask to be born into the life I've had, although I'm really grateful because I have the best family ever, and the queen didn't ask to be born into the family she was born into, we all have to do the best we can in the circumstances we find ourselves in, she had to follow her lifes path she didn't have a choice, just like we have to follow our life's path. I respect everyone's opinion as we are all not going to agree , but there's opinion and downright nastiness, which there is no need for. She was also a mum, grandmother and a great grandmother, so to her family they have lost the thread that probably kept them altogether just like if we lost the heads of our families.
