  1. It should just ask if you are transgender, this way at least the count will still be accurate in regards to men and women. If a person ticks transgender woman, we know this is a man and vice versa with transgender men. Why are the majority suffering for a minority, just add two more boxes to the census, one for " trans woman" and one for " trans man" how hard is that. How on earth can you have a gender neutral census, thousands of both men and women are going to be lost this way.
