@renetorres3568 Not really that straightforward. Due to Israel's policy, almost every single Israeli is in the military, has been in the military, or will be in the military. Plus, Israel itself, made the policy that the families of Palestinian militants also had to pay the price ... were also guilty ... for any violence against them, and regularly dish out collective punishment.

@faerykat If they elect their government, then they elect those who do make policy. Just like the majority of white Southern Americans elected pro-slavery leaders, pro-secession leaders (who enshrined slavery into their new constitution), pro-Jim Crow/segregation leaders, anti-Civil Rights/desegregation leaders ...

@faerykat Less idiotic than blowing up people who lived under a dictatorship, and couldn't vote for their leadership. "A Gallup poll made on behalf of CNN and USA Today concluded that 79% of Americans thought the Iraq War was justified, with or without conclusive evidence of illegal weapons." If 79% of Americans had instead been protesting in the streets, with the anti-war minority, leadership might have made a different decision, no?
