@jstreets1983 No. Letting Republicans win, as you admitted to doing, is what leads to a more horrible Republican. Do you have any sense of responsibility on these things? Consider the primaries the main progressive battleground. If the progressive loses, still vote for corporate Dems being as far right as you want the country to go, and keep Republicans out of the majority and presidency, for good. You're sitting on the sidelines, with an irrelevant third party?

Well, if you can't trust any other human beings to be your representative, then you must favor some form of anarcho system, and, if you can't trust any other human being to get you there, through a representative democracy, then you must favor violent revolution. No? Governments don't tend to give up and go away, peacefully.

@bretbonner What powerful entity are progressives who don't take corporate funds under the thumb of? Kyrsten Sinema is a product of the Green Party. It's not like some third party is going to guarantee you perfectly perfect puritan progressives, or anything. And, the most popular third party hasn't won a single seat in congress in its near 50 year existence. Whether you like the current progressives, or not, running within the party, and taking out corporate stooges in the primaries, is clearly a much better tactic, that can actually win you a seat at the table.
