  1. Because everyone doesn't know how everyone else is going to vote, and if only half the people ditch Trudeau for the NDP, then you get a Conservative government, which is even worse. Need an NDP leader that really brings in the masses. Layton was getting there. His death was a huge blow to the NDP's progress.

  3. It's a helluva lot easier to remove a PM in Canada than a US president. The US didn't used to have term limits. Right wingers didn't like FDR's string of victories. It's not necessarily a good thing.
