  1. Given how volatile the world has become, doesn't it make far more sense to increase production at home instead of relying on foreign producers that could just as easily sell to the other side. Britain found out the hard way during WW II what it meant to have much of its military and domestic production being done an ocean away. Thousand of wrecks still litter the bottom of the oceans because of it. Yes standardize NATO ammunition and everything else possible. But rebuild military production capacity in the EU and North America. And that includes essential new systems like drones. Ukraine is now facing drone shortages because one of the main global producers China no longer wants its drones used in combat against Russian forces.
