  1. How's so, wouldn't it be around the same monthly mortgage? Refinancing for a lower rate would be a while, I don't think we will see a 2-3% interest rate again in a very long time. Unless this is your forever home, I understand

  2.  @alansmithy7930  Housing shortage is not the issue , it's the high demand due to this generation's (gen Y and Millennials) large number and of age to settle or nest down.
