That's great except for one small problem: god is imaginary.

@zeruwunfyfe6300 What is the magic number of believers that overrides the First Amendment?

@J OneLife Irrelevant.

@visi2tirana Courts have repeatedly ruled against religious symbols on public property because TO REASONABLE OBSERVERS the symbols are an endorsement of one religion, thus violating government neutrality. Of course, selfish Christians are not reasonable.

@DiamondTexasViper Founding fathers weren't Christian, they were deists. They could've been Muslim, Hindu, or whatever and it still doesn't allow government endorsement of religion.
3
LeadSlead You're too brainwashed to have an intelligent opinion. Go pray in your church, lots of crosses there to satisfy you.
3
No need to close churches, they're doing that just fine by themselves from all the people leaving.

@Shockguey This cross isn't in a cemetery. I don't expect you to understand the difference.
2
@TheFunGun5 99% of the comments are by brainwashed idiot Trumpster Christians with no interest or mental ability to understand that government must be neutral (neither for nor against) regarding religion. Most Christians are extremely insecure, that's why they need to erect huge crosses to make themselves feel virtuous. Extremely presumptuous to assume all veterans were Christian; if they wanted to honor all the veterans of all faiths (or of no faith) they would not have chosen a cross. Instead of a cross if this were a huge swastika with the same words of tribute to the dead just watch how fast these same idiots would complain that we shouldn't be honoring Nazis.
2
@Shockguey Nice try but I'm not biting. The issue isn't memorial location, the issue is the legality of religious symbols on government property.
2
HASF fanatic Hmm, we're talking about Christians who do force their beliefs down our throats and your only response is "not all Christians do that." The government is not allowed to endorse any particular religion. A huge religious symbol on public land does exactly that. Your refusal to acknowledge this shows you to be unreasonable and dishonest.
2
@LoRaX Why so defensive? Is there a shortage of crosses on display? Get over yourself.
2
@LoRaX A 40' cross is obviously and primarily an endorsement of Christianity. The tiny memorial inscription doesn't change this. Try harder.
2
@PissedOff RebelinMI The only thing I'm losing is IQ points reading your desperate attempt to pretend a cross isn't the symbol of Christianity.
2
Vernon Salisbury I can only assume you're a teenager from your ignorant clueless comment.

@ragnarulfhediin6606 Be sure to post video when you do!
1
That's funny coming from an idiot who wastes his life worshiping and praying and building crosses.
1
We're all atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than Christians. Nobody's asking me to prove Zeus doesn't exist. See how easy that was?
1
@creepkillpop5456 Careful, you'll make me a Christian with airtight logic like that.
1
@Solar8735 Nope! Have a great day!
1
@Solar8735 As a matter of fact I'm enjoying a nice fire in my wood stove right now.
1
More biased reporting from Faux. It's not a "cross shaped memorial" it's a cross and therefore an illegal endorsement of Christianity. You idiot Trumpsters love freedom of religion when it suits YOUR religion.
1
@jeffkardosjr.3825 Big deal.
1
@jeffkardosjr.3825 Yawn.
1
@jeffkardosjr.3825 Please read up on government endorsement of religion.
1
You hypocrite Christians need to be put in your place. You don't respect freedom of religion for anyone but yourselves. Hypocrites. Go cry on your "great Christian" POTUS's shoulder.
1
Just replace the cross with a Hindu Aum and see if this idiot host still insists it doesn't target Hindus.
1
Hypocrite Christians would be losing their minds if this were a 50 foot Muslim symbol on public property.
1
@charleslong5489 Please educate yourself on the establishment clause before you spread any more of your Trumpster ignorance.
1
@charleslong5489 Please go ahead and educate yourself.
1
Allen Vines Push back and do what? Build churches everywhere, force your beliefs and rituals down everyone's throat? Oh wait, you already do that.
1
@Shockguey So you deny a cross is a religious symbol? See, this is why nobody takes you seriously.
1
@Shockguey Way to go off the rails.
1
Or what? You selfish Christians are gonna throw a tantrum?

1
How is fighting for freedom of religion an attack on America? Selfish Christians are the ones attacking.

@americafirstgal1527 A 40' cross is obviously and primarily an endorsement of Christianity. A tiny memorial inscription doesn't change this. No one driving by would see it as anything other than a huge Christian cross. Try to see things beyond your Christian myopia.
1
@cmc9611 Pray for my lost soul. I know you will.
1
@americafirstgal1527 You Christians should be grateful that the government allowed your religious symbol to stand so long. You had your turn now the party's over.
1
@americafirstgal1527 I knew you'd fixate on that instead of my point. That's what you idiots do when you know you lost the argument.
1
25k subs Love to see you try.
1
@ghislainemaxwellofficial6083 I know more about your religion than you do.
