  5. In the 1980s I used to listen to the Soviet Unions version of the BBC world service on shortwave radio. There were always interesting programs but often I felt that I was being groomed. Plus ça change.

  8.  @MG-iy1oh  The Arab invasion of Judah didn't occur untill the 7th century so people in the region were probably lighter skinned than you think. Native Lebanese people look like Europeans, even in Haifa that's true.
