New Zealand is so sparsely populated it must be quite difficult to find someone to infect. Plus it's in the south Pacific miles away from anywhere with no international hub airport. I think they'll be fine.

@911HRW Countries that had strict lockdowns often had worse outcomes than countries that were half hearted in their lockdowns. It's a confusing picture. No doubt scientists will look at the data in the future and give a reason. One thing is for sure. We have a flu season because people tend to stay at home in the winter and viruses spread more indoors.

@kagamekunn99 Yes they have an international airport otherwise you wouldn't be able to fly there. They don't have a hub airport or a transfer airport like Heathrow or Charles de Gaulle for example.
