  1. The market decides the price of goods. The artificial high price of food in Europe has driven people to food banks. Every other business has to compete in the real world I don't see why farmers should be any different.

  2.  @dianax266  there isn't a shortage of food what the farmers are doing is trying to stop European people buying food at the market rate they want a monopoly and price fixing.
