  1. I remember when Israel previously occupied southern Lebanon. The occupation mostly stopped the rockets being fired into Northern Israel but it was an absolute nightmare for the young conscripts who had to go there. Similar to the experience of young conscripts from the USA having to go to Vietnam. I'm not sure it's worth it.
