  1. In fact, at the end of the war, many SS soldiers shed their uniforms because so many were being shot on site even after surrendering just because they were SS. The Russians were more likely to do so because of the destruction of their country and the allies because of what they saw at the concentration camps.

  3. One thing about movies, they're movies. By nature they are various shades of accurate to historical facts and all take artistic license to one degree or another. With that said, it's the essence of the movie and what it's trying to portray that is important. "Pearl Harbor", a total disaster of a movie and an insult to anyone who was there. "Come and See", an inspirational movie to make you want to never see another war.

  4. I could have done with less of the kid's screaming and wimpering but the movie did show some of the horrors that happened on the Eastern front.

  5. @11:29 The Nazi explaining why he kills children reminds me of a couple of things. One is the eastern European philosophy of revenge where they kill you and your entire family less one of the children grows up and comes to kill you. The other was the philosophy towards Indians in the late 19th century in America where Indian children were considered the seeds of the next generation and needed to be eradicated also. Pretty damning stuff of civilization.
