Unlike russian tanks, the crew doesn't end up being sent home in a bucket. The blow out panels did their job. The tank was abandoned but wasn't destroyed until later. And apparently the crew survived. A major plus with the Abrams design.

@MuellerNick That's a secret at this point. But some estimates put it at up to 20. But these are a1 models. And we have quite a few of those. It's just a matter of training and logistics to support them. Parts could be an issue in the long run.
