@Kunfucious577 We are well prepared for normal conditions. The weather at this point isn't normal. Every country is feeling the change in one way or another. As the oceans heat up its causing a domino effect on the rest of the climate. Resulting in more extremes.

@pennycandyys And why is the flooding beyond control ? To much rain in too short of a time. A system of flood control that's totally unprepared for such conditions. I have to agree that they didn't handle the release with any concern for the people down stream. But saving the dams from total destruction seems to have become the priority. And they waited to long to make it a more controllable release.

I love how the west gets blamed for everything. 🙄 The Philippines is acting in its own best interest. And many nations are moving to aline with the west as protection from Russian and Chinese aggression.

@shundi4264 How can you be so mistaken ? The Philippines is a sovereign nation and has been for some time. It selects its own leaders and makes its own foreign policy. Reacting to the aggressive policies of China that threaten their sovereignty.
