@shawnalynn8428 And what is your solution ? Every solution, for what ever reason, isn't acceptable too someone. This "just not here" theme sure isn't going to solve the problem. This problem should be kept very visible. It should be a constant in your face reminder of the price being paid for those high property values and rents people love so much. And how easy it is too end up on the street. How many people are just one problem away from being homeless ? Maybe 70% of the population. Then you have the credit score system. Which is the capitalist version of the social credit system that China has. That if you are not feeding the capitalist system by staying in debt. Many times a debt burden that wasn't necessary and is actually counterproductive. It's obvious that the current system of greed is creating the problem.

@shawnalynn8428 Yet, I keep hearing it. Not here, not there. I don't want to deal with it near my space. I don't want to see it. Just somehow make it disappear without affecting my taxes or home values. So it will never be solved. It will just get worse. Spending millions to just move them from one spot to another hasn't worked either. So you don't have an acceptable solution that works for you ? What a surprise. They spend billions on the homeless problem, when building homes would be actually cheaper.l

The answer is always more guns.Yet, the number of deaths continue to rise. The problem isn't as much the weapons. It's the mentality holding the trigger. Making the country pay a heavy price to protect the second. And turning every building into a heavily protected fortress isn't a real option. Since nowhere is safe anymore.

@Rebecky31 Is anything we do sustainable ? Obviously, not. Stripping the planet so we can feel in control. When we should know better. The universe could care less if we are here to be amazed by it's power. We have more sunlight than we will ever have oil and gas. How to make the best use of it is the question. Without some major advances. Solar or electric cars are not a solution.

@mirrormonstere113 I have lived in citrus heights for 50 yrs and I haven't heard about any terrorist activity or nass shooting in Auburn. It's the militarization of our police forces we have seen since Reagan.

There isn't much call for them.
