Two countries with pure nationalist focused governments are not going to get along for very long.

@harshsoni2229 Their relationship was always rocky. Right now Russia sees a chance to make China more dependent on their food. China's food belt is getting hammered this year. .

@blokin5039 Russia has cut off most it's supply of military hardware. Which is why Chinese engines suck so bad. And why they end up making substandard copies of everything from buildings, jets to aircraft carriers.

@blokin5039 Their building are made of paper. Their infrastructure is poorly built and nearly as old as ours. This flooding has exposed a serious defect in their theology of quick construction.. Just as much as the drought and flooding has exposed ours. And what other major power would want or need Russian support at this point. It's China or get left out of the big game. And with all the issues China is having now. They are vulnerable to outside control. They need immigrants now. Why not Russians. It's not like they like anyone else.

@blokin5039 Maybe this rapid rise came at the cost of long term stability. You can't say that there isn't some serious long term issues building that will come back on them later. Failure was built into the system. Which is why they will have had to change course over the yrs. The idea of laying flat is gaining ground. Chinese hippies. Dropping out in protest to the rat race they have built. Of course dropping out of the rat race is becoming more popular to many of those who can. Even in the u.s..

@kaseemmisani7747 You do know that we have the Internet now. It's pretty hard to hide the issues China is having. How many building have sold out, but we're never completed ? Or start falling apart even before it's even finished. It's shiney on the outside, but soft on the inside. How many ghost cities have they built just to increase their GDP ? They have aircraft carriers. But lack the aircraft to support them. They lack the long range logistics need for a world power. They lack the bases to extend their influence. Their military is in a defensive posture.

@kaseemmisani7747 I am know both sides. I am not ignoring what they have created. But, how their history and rapid rise has created a weak foundation. And how they are getting hammered with one issue after another.

@kaseemmisani7747 China has taken a lot of bumps and bruises over the yrs that's for sure. The effects of the Mao yrs is building into tidal wave that will change everything. Including a massive decline in people eligible for military and security services.

@kaseemmisani7747 China lacks the one thing that a rising power needs. Friends !
