China and the Taliban, are the most unlikely couple ever.

@pepelepew1227 China can't really do much in other countries anyway. China is the mafia loan shark that only desperate countries would go to. The Taliban and China do have one thing in common. Corruption on an economy killing scale. As well as their socially isolationist mindset.

@pepelepew1227 Since living in New York is totally voluntary. So, no you have no room to complain. And I have had enough travel to last a lifetime. Unfortunately, it's all been in the asian theatre and at gov expense. I don't know of any country that doesn't have the same issues the U.S. does. No matter what system you have. There will be advantages and disadvantages.
1
@pepelepew1227 And your opinion means what to me ? And the answer is.... ZERO !!!!
1
@pepelepew1227 First off, yes that is my real face. I never was into hiding who I am. Second, Japan and Germany have restricted the size of their own military over the yrs. The original restrictions came from their peace treaties. Third, countries that we have fought bitter battles against are now allies. Let's see how China scores. Zero ! Fourth, there were many countries involved in every war we have fought. Either on the front lines or in support roles, we never go it alone. Even the u.s. can't do whatever it wants.

@pepelepew1227 I sure would like to see China try to claim land in Afghanistan as Chinese soil. That would be quite the show.
1
@pepelepew1227 I would agree on all your points, but one. China is doing everything they are being accused of and more. China is the one pushing the illusion that is the dash 9 line. China has a fishing fleet that is out of control. A pack of resource pirates. And building an island where it doesn't belong doesn't create a valid claim to territorial water rights. Sorry, China will never get to claim the SCS as their property. And Taiwan will never be a part of mainland china.
1
@pepelepew1227 China depends on the freedom of navigation laws just like every other country. So, I don't see any advantage in this move. Except to piss off your neighbors. Pushing them into picking a side. And they are not picking to align with China. This is only getting the u.s. even more involved in the area. And China is having some serious problems in just about every sector of their economy. Compounded by a series of extended natural and man-made disasters.
1
@pepelepew1227 Why do you act like the u.s. is the only nation reacting negatively to china's latest moves in the SCS ? Since so much trade goes thru that area. It seems that just about everyone has some interest in the outcome.
1
@pepelepew1227 Let's see. Their foreign political and economic push onto the world stage has fallen flat on its ass. The islands they built are already sinking. And for death counts. America would come up way short of Mao and the CCP. And China is pulling back to a more isolationist position. Pushing out foreign influences. And the foreign investments it needs. A shortage of electricity (do to a shortage of that sweet Australian coal and heavy rains) is killing their economic output. And forcing companies to look for other countries to base out of. China just doesn't want too look like the paper tiger it really is. With a persecution complex that would make Christians red with envy.
1
@pepelepew1227 Like they say. If the u.s. doesn't have a finger in the pie. China or Russia will be there in our place. I don't know of any country that doesn't have a hand in directing the affairs of other countries. Do you know why we have so many allies ? Because they see a bigger threat coming from Russia and China.
1
@pepelepew1227 First off, I could care less what you think I should be watching. Second, since I don't know what country you are in. I have no context to work from. Third, money always comes with a contract. Sign it or don't. Nobody is forced to take the money. Or even to allow foreign investments to buy up companies. The nationalization of industries have been even less successful then those that are privatized. And nobody but China believes in the validity of the 9 dash line.
1
@pepelepew1227 I never said the u.s. was the good guys. Just that fewer countries see us as a threat. And it seems that just about everyone wants a u.s. base in their country. That flag still has some heavy weight behind. For some reason people feel safer behind an American flag than just about any of the other ones.
1
@pepelepew1227 Did you know that the u.s. wasn't the only military with troops in country ? So if the invasion was illegal. Someone didn't pass the message on to our allies. Sweet Jesus !!! You keep blaming the u s. for all the worlds problems. What the Jews are not in vogue any more ? Maybe blame the gods for letting us be top dog for the last 80 yrs. 😁 Well one thing for sure. Piss us off and we 'will' make your life miserable for a very long time. Don't poke the beast and you won't get chewed up.
1
@pepelepew1227 The only 'official' ally china has is N.Korea. Nobody is signing military mutual defense agreements. Nobody is supporting their moves in SCS. Nobody wants their fishing fleets in their waters. Nobody wants a chinese military base in their country.
1
@pepelepew1227 I am sure that China would like to be the u s.. But, that seats taken. It doesn't look like China has the right stuff to ever be a major player. Besides, this isn't the 1800's. Empires are no longer possible or desirable. I am fully aware of the Chinese military and economic capabilities. And they are not at all impressive.
1
@pepelepew1227 Trying too compare the freedoms of the Chinese or Russians with those in the U.S. is quite laughable. What country are you supporting ? What country are you in ?
1
@pepelepew1227 You live in New York. Enjoying all the benefits the U.S. has to offer. Yet, have an issue with it's level of rules. Give me a break.
1
@pepelepew1227 I don't 'stick' to any news channel. A super religious ideology and a atheistic theocratic dictatorship. This should be interesting. Sort of like the Vatican and the Satanic Temple linking up.
1
@pepelepew1227 So which special skill did you have that qualified for a H1B ? And what country did you come from ? You know...add some context to the situation. But, you signed the agreement to live in New York, of all places to get dropped into.
1
@pepelepew1227 I guess we had better options than your home country ? Anything east of the Rockies is a no go zone for me. Seems everytime I went east the weather sucked big time. The big cities have no draw for me. And after leaving a very stressful time in the air force. I just wanted some peace and quiet. A time to heal the soul from all the damage war can put on you. Anyway, I hope you find the life you are looking for.
1
@pepelepew1227 You sure picked a great time to end up in New York. The world is in a death dive from a combination of over leveraged economies, social changes and a covid distressed world. This is the biggest multi level disaster to hit the world since WW2. And this is just part 1 of a 4 part disaster movie. I hope I won't be around for parts 3 and 4. The east coast isn't know for having a friendly upbeat atmosphere to begin with. And it's not a friendly place for the disabled and old.
1
@pepelepew1227 Buying stuff that you don't really need is always a bad idea Your story is probably a million to one shot.
1
@pepelepew1227 Are you saying that if you hadn't been accepted for entry. That things would have worked out the same for you ? There isn't that many that are that lucky. To be in the right place. With the right skills. With an economy that can support your climb to a comfortable retirement. You think this is all just because you have made good decisions that may not have even been available under different circumstances.
1
@pepelepew1227 My tone ? Just saying that you were damn lucky to get here. And have it work out the way it has, is as much luck as skill. That is somehow condescending ?!? 🙄🙄 You just don't realize all the barriers that could have left you down cleaning dishes at an all night diner. You are just one disaster away from losing it all. Just like everyone else. So get off that high horse you're riding. It's cutting off the oxygen to your brain.
1
@lukemurray4950 So China thinks they can do something that no other country in history has managed ? 🤣🤣🤣 The Taliban are already in deep shit. Running that country is not as easy as they thought it would be. Having resources and developing them into a sustainable business is too completely different problems. Besides the next gov may not be so friendly. It is a very politically unstable country.
1
@lukemurray4950 The afghans hate each other as much as they hate everyone else. Afghanistan hasn't been a really unified country in it's entire history. To many seperate power bases. All protecting their slice of the country. They may combine to remove a foreign power. But, quickly return to the political infighting that made Afghanistan the country they have today.
1
@lukemurray4950 Ok, tell me when they had a central gov that controlled the tribal areas. As far as my research has seen, it has never happened. And I don't see them giving up their local control or power base to any central gov.
1
Afghanistan : we want to have a country. But, our history keeps getting in the way. Without a functional central gov they will never have a unified country. And it doesn't look like that will ever happen.
1
@pepelepew1227 For a guy who's main theme on your channel is 'dum, dum, dum' (Which you fit perfectly). You have little to talk about. You have just as much credibility as Donald Trump's Christian values.
1
@pepelepew1227 Well, since i don't know where your info is coming from. Its hard to tell where you are coming from. Your channel is just as empty as your opinion. Or is your confidence in your sources that low. That they have to remain hidden out of embarrassment. 😁
1
@pepelepew1227 Total privacy in this context is a sign of weakness. Or fear.
1
@pepelepew1227 I like too be on the right side of history. And liberal ideals always win out in the end. That's just the plain truth of our human history. At least I have enough confidence in my world view to use my real identity. And not hide behind a wall like a child. Nobody knows if you are anything more than an internet ghost. Or worse, a construct of the CCP.
1
@pepelepew1227 I may not live to see it. But, you probably will.😁😁
1
@pepelepew1227 Sweet Jesus Farts !!!Liberalism and communism are not the same. Not even close. I wish you guys would get your terminology right. And who has been spending like crazy over the last "4 " yrs ? But, that's what you do in an emergency. You go into debt to keep yourself afloat. And it's pretty much the same story with every country. So I guess you sent back all that stimulus money, from the GOP controlled Congress, in protest ? 😁😁 But, of course you didn't. You just want to bitch because other people got it too.
1
@pepelepew1227 I don't watch CNN or any standard media sites. Even china's own statements show how bad things are. It's a system designed to fail. And the latest policy changes are only making their economy worse off. I heard that they were 'considering' a system of property taxes. Apparently, they are changing how funding for new construction is done. Throwing a big wrench into an already sick and unbalanced system. Their morgage companies are in some serious financial trouble because if it. They have outlawed crypto currency. Which maybe their smartest move. Shutdowns due to a shortage of electricity may bankrupt many businesses. I could go on.... Ya, there is so much info coming out of China it's almost funny.
