  1. Nothing except put into modern tongue for you to understand the context better. We have over 2000 manuscripts to base modern bibles on, the KJV was based on only four. There is nothing really changed for all intents and purposes.

  4.  @JesusSavesTheLostBrokenConfuse  Exactly being a Christian isn't about denominations, being religious or following rules and regulations, it's a real tangible relationship with Jesus. Jesus is the source of everything to the Christian, and the bible is part of how we know more about him.

Far less telling you how to have salvation and eternal life and know your creator. Far less the most influential book in human history that brought about the rise of the West which uplifted the world into the modern age you enjoy now. List goes on and on.

  15. What fiction? The historicity of the biblical text is exemplary and long been established. It is so accurate it has predictive power to chart archeological digs. It has 100% accuracy of prophecy over 2000 of 2500 fulfilled. It's the only source in human history to get the start of the universe correct, no one else religious or scientific comes close, it's where we get the big bang theory from. You must have it confused with the writings of Buddha or someone else. I bet you believe in naturalism aka magic though, rationality from irrationality. Mind>magic
