Much of the Bible is indeed history and the consequences of sin are terrible, but that is why Jesus came.... to redeem us and reconcile us back to God. John 3:16-21. We can accept His free offer or reject it, to our own eternal detrimemt!

  5. Did you ever think God rejected him after Jan. 6th? Like Saul in rhe old testament when he disobeyed a clear command of God? Then Saul's ego could not except that, and he persecuted David ( a man after God's own heart) til the he died by suicide after losing a battle. Trump is belittling DeSantis and calling him names everywhere. I do not see any indication at all that God is helping Trump. He takes God's name in vain frequently! God will honor those who honor Him. I do see DeSantis acknowledging God and he prays for wisdom to lead his state and country.
