Greetings from Tiger Mountain! I drank my green smoothie while watching your video. Here's an important tip: you will not gain any nutritional benefit (Omega 3) from the flax seeds unless they are consumed freshly ground. I recommend to add a good amount of flax seeds to your smoothie since you already have enough fiber in your granola, The Vitamix will grind up the flax for you, they disappear in the mix. ENJOY! 🙂 , I applaud all your healthy choices!

Add enough fruit, frozen works best, and you won't taste the kale. Add flax seeds to the smoothie as well (Omega 3s are so healing!).

@GM4ThePeople I speak and understand your language. I have looked at the devastating effects of misguided nutrition for the past 8 years, beginning with my own health issues. I have made some life-changing discoveries... My comment was directed personally at Dr. Goobie, whose posts I studied and interpreted with interest and I got more and more encouraged believing that he has had similar revelations about the true nature of our system of sick-care. By judging his food choices, I think he may have a good sense of what is the cause of this major dilemma. Yet, I was not sure whether he was aware of how divisive this topic is. I share your concern. Best wishes!

Coconut oil sadly has saturated fat.... . Best wishes!

Kaiser also promotes plant based care - they have an official PDF that supports it. In reality, I have yet to find a plant-based doc near me (Seattle area) in their system.

You made it sound as if he suffered the heart attack WHILE on a WFPB diet. I assume, judging by the video title, that he switched from a SAD diet to WFPB. :-)

@Smokeycam1 Interesting. I'll check this out.

@Smokeycam1 At 15:30 he says he switched to WFPB after the heart attack. He looked deeper and another specialist convinced him to go more carnivore. He was insulin resitant. Insulin resistance can be traced back to fat molecules blocking the cells that would absorb the carbs. Insulin cannot access these cells anymore, thus insulin resistance. This scenario is not taught in typical med schools, even though the mechanics have been known for decades. Harvard studies make this clear. Anyway, he was plant based only briefly, after his heart attack....

Coconut oil contains saturated fat. :-( - Just FYI, in case you overlooked that.
