  13. Dizfan you can't actually compare Catherine with Diana .The current Princess of Wales has the benefit of a stable family background and a first class education. She had met her future husband at age 18 / 19 and they actually grew up together starting as friends .The relationship was a little inconsistent because they were both concerned about longevity and a genuine partnership but eventually they decided there was a future for them both within the Royal family ; Catherine was 29 years old and her fiance was a similar age .I think they were sensible to commit to the relationship but took the time to see how it developed. Hoping Catherine is fully recovered from her illness in time to enjoy Spring and Summer 2024 .

It was their decision to live in the property ( before they married ) when they were in London but they also had a much larger country home in the Cotswolds which they rented.

Thanks to Thomas she had a typical upper middle class American life style but of course tries to pretend she didn't.
