Ida Charles will try to honour all the population of the country .You have to try to understand that the number of Christians in the UK is currently below 50 % and there are many worthy citizens who are Jewish , Hindu , Moslems etc .   34.  @colingillett6447  Where do you get these deluded ideas from ?The troops do what they are ordered to do and it is not part of their training to question the orders they are given.Personally I do not want any intervention from our armed forces but neither do I want a bunch of crazies campaigning to bring down an elected government and creating mayhem. Please note I have no time for Boris or his Cabinet but I respect the judgement of my fellow citizens.

  49.  @steptay  If what you say is factually correct why is the Chancellor making it more attractive for retired people to return to the work force ? Perhaps you are looking at things from the wrong lense .Why can't workers have a living wage which enables them to live without tax credits .I do not think the politicians have deliberately encouraged migration but they certainly have not done anything to control the numbers though I note that a number of Europeans left as a consequence of Brexit .
