Nikle it has been clear for a long time that Tom Bower does not like King Charles but the reason is unclear.

It is not the victories that are celebrated but the sacrifices made by the British and Commonwealth service men and women . The Remembrance Day Services are not celebratory at all really but extremely sad because most families have lost relatives in the two World Wars . If you pay a visit to the churches in U K towns and villages you will see the names of those who never returned and it is a great pity that mankind has not learned any lessons.

@Singhramdas I remember past and current barbarity throughout the World . There is no hypocrisy because my ancestors were not even remotely responsible for the British Empire and I am no supporter of ambitious Dictators .

JMoore I have the impression that King Charles enjoys meeting new people because he seems happy and relaxed .
