Dr Strangelove you are correct MM wanted to live like a Princess in Windsor Castle and has expressed the view that Frogmoor was inadequate despite the fact that it was refurbished in accordance with her taste.

joe I think the Harkles spend more than they earn and may well be in financial trouble .Andrew does not have the income needed to maintain Royal Lodge but he ought to be able to cope with Frogmore Cottage which has been fully refurbished over the last 4 years .

@kripaharris237 The comments made about Nottingham Cottage were particularly cheeky given it was allocated to H when he was unmarried . It was their decision to live in the property ( before they married ) when they were in London but they also had a much larger country home in the Cotswolds which they rented.

@marigold6920 I think the disagreement about bullying of staff influenced the decision about the Kensington Palace apartment .My impression is that the the property was equal in size to that occupied by William and Catherine .
