Has it never occurred to you that Andrew might be the author of his own misfortunes ? I do not know what Andrew has in the Bank but I gather the property he lives in requires substantial repairs and he has acknowledged he can't afford to pay for them.

I am sorry but Andrew has not been charged with any offence by any law enforcement authority .A female person took a Civil action against him and he gave her money to halt that action .He has never admitted that he was guilty of any offence and in fact has claimed that he did nothing wrong. We do not live in a World where people are always scrupulously honest and it is possible Andrew was merely unlucky as her next victim ( a U S lawyer ) fought back and the claimant eventually backed down. I think there is enough doubt in the case to suggest people should stop throwing insults at Andrew .

I think if the Duke of York was not a member of the Royal family there would not have been any legal action taken by Virginia because she did not have any evidence against him. Everyone knows that it was her word against his and of course the original photograph disappeared rather conveniently before it could be tested. The only reason for settlement concerned the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and it appears Andrew is considering reopening the settlement now his mother is no longer alive. We can only wait and see what happens next.
