  4.  @jameselder720  Of course I know nothing about your politics or your voting record .I intended to convey that in a Democracy we all have some responsibility for the Government who run the country . I do not agree with you about the political parties being identical because that is clearly nonsense.

  5.  @jameselder720 You are correct in suggesting political choices are restricted but I still believe there are fundamental differences between the U K political parties. The Tories have always been committed to low taxation and Sunak seems to believe that he can still win an election with a small bribe for each household .I think people are sick and tired of the decline of public services and are willing to make sacrifices to improve the N H S and the basic fabric of the country . I am also hopeful that if the Conservatives are reduced to a rump then common sense can prevail and some of the worst aspects of Brexit can be dealt with.

  6.  @popthis8891  The Government could stop the boats by taking a firm stance and returning all migrants to to France , Belgium or Holland. Who would pay large sums of money to criminals if they knew the result would be returning to Europe ? The Rwanda solution is ,in my opinion , complete nonsense dreamed up by a failing Home Secretary and fearfully expensive.
