The Committee did its job and came to the logical conclusion that Bo Jo has nothing but contempt for our Parliamentary institutions. I am delighted that the good people of Uxbridge and South Ruislip now have an opportunity to select a new MP and I do hope the Daily Mail does not regret its decision to offer this lazy man employment .

I was not vindictive toward Enoch Powell and do not know anyone who was . Enoch was sincere and a true patriot but to be brutally honest Bo Jo is just a liar and a charlatan .The country would benefit if he did the decent thing and took a long walk off a short pier.

@Stuart Cook I understand that the membership of the Committee has to be approved by Parliament .I think it is absurd to criticise the decision taken when there was substantial evidence in support . Bo Jo is not a Democrat and he has form as regards his attitude to Parliament. I think this bombastic creature needs to ply his trade elsewhere because he has been exposed as a habitual liar who has no self discipline.

@christinecraig7473 Enoch did not use a crystal ball and could not have predicted the political instability or climate change which has caused the rapid movement of people. Who could have thought it likely that Putin would take a crazy decision to invade Ukraine ?
