Mark I thought the letter highlighted Braverman's inability to take personal responsibility for anything. She was Home Secretary and it was her job to come up with a Plan B should Patel's cunning wheeze fail .If Sunak was not sufficiently robust then she could have challenged him in Cabinet but I do not think she did that .

@robertcottam8824 I agree the shit came to the surface after Brexit and we had people like Johnson and Braverman being given jobs they were unsuitable for. The Johnson Cabinet mainly consisted of MP's who would not challenge the Prime Minister and then we were faced with Covid. The Tories were extremely stupid in failing to support Mrs May who is an experienced and honest Politician in my opinion.

@tonyrobinson362 Nothing wonderful about Braverman. I think the Tory Party is bent on self destruction and this latest spat is particularly stupid.

@j4wn The final act may well involve the dismantling of the Conservative Party thanks to Johnson , Braverman and Dominic Cummings.

@InCornwall She expects Reform to join her. Braverman has an extremely inflated view of her importance and of her abilities. Thatcher on steroids is what you get and it is not a pretty sight.
