  1. @John C M There was something very wrong with the intelligence supplied to the US and UK governments. It is possible Blair was not aware of the errors .

  2.  @neilsimonsen  War is never popular and I do not have a problem with that .I think Blair had given Bush a firm undertaking that the UK would contribute to the invasion at a very early stage and he did not have the courage to withdraw .

  3.  @danutahanyga4834  the claims made by the Blair family were within the terms set out by the government .What I object to are the fraudulent claims made by criminals who then left the country.

  5. A mistake to offer Tony a Knighthood since a high proportion of the population still remember the dodgy dossier and the deceased scientist.

  6. Danuta perhaps we should ask why the Queen chose to give Tony Blair this singular honour at this point in time. I have to admit I was surprised .
