Ms Joybird I agree it was a nasty thing to do to an elderly lady who had recently been widowed. My opinion is that MM really hated the Queen because she had consistently told her No .MM is dangerous when thwarted.

Loyalty to Royalty only one problem MM appears to have been planning her return to the U S even before the wedding. I think the Royal family were shocked by the decision taken by the Harkles but we may never know if they jumped or if they were pushed.

@lourdesgreen2213 I do not think they were asked to leave as MM was actually not in the U K but in Canada. You have to remember that H & M do not always make sensible decisions and they had already participated in negotiations which made them optimistic about their financial future . I can only suggest that neither H or M took into account the substantial perks they had as members of the Royal family particularly Security.

@loyaltytoroyalty I think both of these people are " not the full shilling" .They did not appreciate what they had until the income and expenditure account indicated that they had a problem .
