NATO has no intention of attacking Russia but it will try to help Ukraine defend itself from the bully next door. Putin is clearly apoplectic that Ukraine is independent and disobedient but he needs to accept that the days of the U SSR are over.

  19.  @dianadickson6204  The troops assembled on the border numbered 150,000 but perhaps you are enumerate .I doubt the Ukrainians Army numbers half a million since it is well known that Russia has one of the largest Armies in the world . The Russians are constantly involved in Wars and interfering in other countries for example Ukraine from 2014 , Afghanistan , Syria etc . Putin is an aggressive and greedy tyrant who deserves to spend eternity in Hell.

Putin has to be persuaded that his only option is to withdraw his troops and missiles etc and to discuss his next steps with the diplomats from the U N, Ukraine and NATO. Does Putin want to be the man who ended human occupation of the planet ?

  32. Rahul he is imagining a threat which does not exist . Parallels are drawn with the Cuban missile crisis but the difference is that the Russians had the ships at sea with missiles on board. The Ukraine was not even a member of NATO when Putin sent in his army.

It gave Russia delusions about its importance and role in the world leading to the invasion of Ukraine. War is a very costly way to resolve a dispute and mankind should have outgrown violence.

Russia is an aggressive Country and wants to destroy NATO because it has an ambition to be top dog ruling the whole world. Imagine no freedom of expression, a Tsar who can rule without constraint , economic decline , corruption, state media only ; life hardly worth living unless you ate an Oligarch.
