  13.  @joedarkmatter5051  I believe that Putin is a sick man and is thinking about his legacy for the future of Russia. He believes the USSR ought to be reformed and devised a plan to use an invasion of Ukraine as the starting point of that project. Unfortunately his plan has not worked and to be honest he is now uncertain what to do next. The logical step is to sue for peace and withdraw the troops , the navy and Air force but is he capable of doing that .

  33.  @dianadickson6204  The troops assembled on the border numbered 150,000 but perhaps you are enumerate .I doubt the Ukrainians Army numbers half a million since it is well known that Russia has one of the largest Armies in the world . The Russians are constantly involved in Wars and interfering in other countries for example Ukraine from 2014 , Afghanistan , Syria etc . Putin is an aggressive and greedy tyrant who deserves to spend eternity in Hell.

  34. Shivam there are no NATO weapons in Ukraine but there were Russian weapons in Cuba .Ukraine is frightened of its neighbour for obvious reasons and wants to join NATO and the EU for protection but it's application has not been accepted.

  43.  @sisadumalisile3176  I think the Americans are pretty transparent and are far from being hypocritical .The Russians were rather stupid thinking they could get away with planting nuclear weapons in Cuba and Castro clearly did not consider the implications for his people if those weapons had been used.

  47. Shivam the people of Ukraine did not expect a Russian invasion because of the common bond between the two peoples.After all when you give up your Nuclear weapons and sign a Peace Treaty it is not too much to expect that you are safe from attack.

  49.  @mickowens9839  8 years ago Russia took Crimea and that was treated as a warning to Ukraine .There were also incursions into the border regions of Ukraine and interference from Moscow in Ukraine internal affairs. In such circumstances most any country asks for practical help .
