@lynnmeyers10 I am afraid Charles thought he was marrying a healthy and happy young woman who shared his country interests. After marriage he found his new wife was more interested in the town rather than country and she had deliberately deceived him. The situation got worse after the birth of Diana's second child.

@scpmdt No Diana had mental health problems before Charles took any interest in her .In recent times Earl Spencer has apologised to the King for his families failure to tell the then Prince of Wales what her problems were. Please do not judge any book by its cover alone .

@lynnmeyers10 I do not think the Prince of Wales was immature when he married Diana Spencer .His problem was finding a woman who was willing to marry him and was acceptable to his parents ,the citizens of the U K and the Commonwealth. I think Charles was willing to commit to Diana but unfortunately he soon found she was mentally unstable and that they had nothing in common ; she was not interested in the environment.

@anitabartlett4095 Diana would have spent her time on holiday as she surrendered all her charitable endeavours with the Divorce .I think Diana was not a serious person but someone who loved attention and publicity .

@jonathanbuss7538 Charles was faithful until Diana was found to have struck up a relationship with another man. She went on to have many affairs while pretending to be sweet and innocent .
