Rebecca I think you are right .H has no interest in the UK or the Commonwealth and should not be in the line of succession.I would prefer to see Edward replace Harry as he is a decent man with a stable family life .

Nobody Important are you normally so impatient .Charles has been King for a matter of days and does have other priorities .He will have a list of jobs to be done and will work through the list in a sensible manner .

@nobodyimportant3909 The risk of Harry playing an important role is minor but he needs to know that his behaviour and decisions have consequences .His father has to harden his heart and do what is best for the future of the family.

@marierocher4422 The death of Diana was a shock for everyone but her sons felt real grief as we all saw .It is not surprising that H has not been able to cope with her loss and that his mental health is a constant source of worry for his family. I can't help but feel that the move to the U S A did not help him as he would have benefitted from a quiet life in familiar surroundings rather than running a business in a strange country.His wife does not appear to consider his welfare but her personal ambition is the key to most of her decisions .

@marierocher4422 I gather MM decided H should cease to take his medication and cease his therapy sessions which strikes me as high handed and not necessarily the right thing to do. It appears H is far from well and I do hope he will seek help to enable him to lead a rewarding life in the U S A.

Greenthumb Mary the Palace should have given more protection to both Andrew and Harry when they started to get close to undesirable people .It is possible they would not have listened but at least they would have been better informed .
