@jimthompson9370 Why couldn't we have stayed in the E U and fought our corner ? I think the U K is poorer for abandoning our European neighbours both economically and culturally .

Jim I do not think Rory lost because he voted with his conscience in accordance with his considered view .The country lost out because the E R G did not have any plans for a post Brexit Britain.

@jimthompson9370 I do not think our neighbours are our friends . Anti British views predominate in Europe and I do not believe the situation will improve in my life time .

@Robert-tl2vg The E R G were the prime movers behind this idiotic campaign to leave the EU .Unfortunately they had no plan for a future outside the EU and there continue to be divisions within the Conservative Party and the Country . People are now being criticised for flourishing EU flags and some idiots want legislation to ban such flags .You think I do not know what I am talking about but at least I can truthfully say that like Rory I voted with my conscience.
