  3. M gets outraged by almost everything and everyone. The Queen had the measure of M when they first met and knew there was only one reason for her desire to live in Windsor Castle .I have in mind M aiming to take control of the monarchy as the Queen got older and less alert. Catherine and William have the trust of the family and it would be helpful to have them close by in the event of an emergency. Windsor is also convenient for Eton and for Catherine's parents. Good plan.
