I appreciate that Hilary is not popular but her sanity has never been questioned and she is a very intelligent and capable woman .What would the World be like today if the American people had rejected Donald Trump ?

Saul Teanuts I do not agree with you. It was in fact very easy to spot that Trump was /is a despicable human being and that does not reflect on your capabilites at all.

@ssjup81 I can only agree that Trump is the ultimate bad sportsman .One can only conclude that the Democrats failed to expose the risk the American people would be taking if they voted for Trump and they deserve to be criticised for that.

@faithrada There is something very unhealthy in the society when so many people can vote for a candidate like Trump .I have to admit that I do not understand why people still have a certain amount of loyalty to him despite his criminal behaviour and inability to perform his administrative duties. It is remarkable that no political commentator remarked on Trumps obsession with campaigning for a second term almost as soon as he moved into the White House .What time or energy did he devote to creating a coherent administration?

@jeffreysickels1970 I think the world could not be worse because Trump was " involved " on some level with Vladimir Putin and undermined the security of the U S A because of this .It is possible we will find out in the future the full extent of his treachery but meanwhile on the basis of what we know now he needs to be brought to trial.

@tilley6351 I can only agree with you. Johnson is described as a mini Trump and they are alike in that they do not tell the truth and appear to be incapable of being honest with themselves .I think Johnson has character flaws which mean he is lazy and self indulgent but Trump is probably in need of treatment in a secure unit.

@TommyCorleone The young lady reported what she was told about Trumps behaviour in the Car. It appears he wanted to go the Capitol but was persuaded to return to the White House which is what was said on the 6th January or a day or two later.

@tixximmi1 Why did Trump offer 20k troops when it was a purely routine ceremonial occasion ? Has it occurred to you that if the troops were at the Capitol Trump might have tried to stop proceedings on the pretext that there was some sort of security threat .I do not trust anything said or done by the Orange Man or by his associates for obvious reasons.

@ricksimon9867 You are right and there is a suggestion he used a burner phone to keep in contact with his co- conspirators while the riot was underway .I think the aim of the exercise is to cover all angles and that is why it is a slow process. These are unchartered territories for the U S A because there has never been a Trump before.

@jumperpoint Looking for logic or sense where Trump is concerned is a waste of time. I have the impression that Trump does not value people or even notice them unless they can be made use of .A humble female member of staff was not someone who would interest him and he did not take any account of her eyes and ears or her willingness to help bring him to justice.

@pyrovania Am not certain the Clinton's were friends with Trump but he did move in Democrat circles and they attended functions arranged by the party. I also believe both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were associated with Epstein which is not something they boast about today.

@gacj2010 How can people be happy when the legacy of Donald Trump is still being felt ? What you have to understand is that the the U S A has had to cope with a triple trauma over the last 5 years with the election of Trump, Covid 19 and the invasion of Ukraine .The economic shock could be described as yet another trauma but to my mind it has its roots in the three traumas previously mentioned. Like any trauma it takes time and effort to deal with and it will require an effort of will for the American people to unite around a common aim of restoring the country to a semblance of fairness and order.

@whovotedforthis6907 You forget the many people who died because of Trump policies for example the withdrawal from Afghanistan, the deaths from Covid exacerbated by his advice etc and the poor people whose children were taken from them .I think the politicians would label the unwanted impact of Trump as collateral damage .

@whovotedforthis6907 I disagree .Many people died from the premature exit from Afghanistan and from Trump's mishandling of Covid .Trump actually creates nothing but chaos and confusion but he was fortunate to have capable Scientists studying Corona virus vaccines .Closing the borders was actually sensible and was a policy adopted by New Zealand, Australia and many other countries . I do not take my views from Fox News but rely on facts / statistics/ expert opinion etc.
