David I suspect that the Trump supporters refuse to believe their man is receiving a fair hearing and the anti Trump people say they always thought Trump organised the attack on the Capitol . I have watched the hearings myself and think they do draw you in day after day. I hope they result in Trump and his co conspirators appearing in Court.

@garajiseru4087 It seems odd that when Trump was elected there was no voter fraud but as soon as Trump lost fraud on a massive scale was everywhere .Clearly Trump and his supporters do not see the humour in their claims or wonder why there is a distinct lack of evidence to support them.

@tataeight8771 You are right to draw attention to history and in particular to the 1920' s and 1930's .The problems we are all facing following Covid 19 have been exacerbated by the aggression from Russia which was also predictable .I can only wish President Biden all the luck in the world as he tries to lead the NATO Allies through the economic and military crisis . Dealing with Trump is vital and the Congressional hearings are demonstrating what a monster the man is and what a danger he is to the Constitution and democracy .

@lucy2014 I am sorry you have lost friends because they fail to see that Trump is pure evil .The Grand Old Party has enabled him and allowed him to brain wash people ; it deserves to be disbanded .Fox News is another dreadful organisation but nothing has been done to curb its excesses . I suppose with the Supreme Court in right wing hands there is little one can do to bring these organisations to book though the Congressional Hearings are having some effect.

@tataeight8771 When good people try to establish the truth there can be hope and we can only place our faith in the process designed by Congress .Once the evidence is assembled then the next stage is to bring the accused to trial where the strength of the case can be tested before a Jury .
