  1. Victor what about a sexual predator like the former President pontificating about abortion. It is incredible that such men believe they have a right to dictate how women should live their lives . I thought the twentieth century had seen progress in obtaining rights for the so called second sex and I am ashamed to say that it never occurred to me that men would be allowed to take away such an important right under the guise of religious faith.

I do not see why a woman who has been assaulted should suffer further injury by living through a pregnancy .A man could not possibly understand what a degrading prospect it would be for any woman to cope firstly with rape and then an unwanted child . The right wing judges on the Supreme Court are cruel and heartless and in my opinion are denying women their human right to have control over their own bodies. I agree abortion is abhorrent but in cases of rape or incest it is necessary.

  3. Brenda I do not think a right to sue is going to compensate for a violent attack and an unwanted pregnancy .A woman facing this type of situation has a right to expect her attacker will not be able to assault another woman because he is in a secure prison for life.
