  7.  @gwynnethwilkes9043  I understand Lady Susan tendered her resignation and King Charles tried to persuade her to stay .I do feel we do not know what went on behind closed doors and that Charles is an honourable man .William is young and may on occasion make hasty decisions but he will learn to take a more measured approach as he gains experience .

  8.  @gwynnethwilkes9043  William is very young and inexperienced when compared to his father .At the age of 40 Charles had been Prince of Wales for many years and had been running the Duchy of Cornwall also for many years. Both William and his wife have been relatively protected since their marriage and are now expected to take on more duties. I do not know what scrutiny is in place for guests invited to Buckingham Palace but clearly whatever is in place needs to be improved as soon as possible .

  15.  @abbatrouble  I think all 3 of the ladies you mention had a struggle and they have that in common. Sophie was fooled by a journalist , Catherine was mocked because her status was unclear for some years and Camilla was of course pilloried by the Diana fanatics. It is very sad to see the way the media treat people as less than human for year after year.
