  13. Snowdonia the prime example of the lack of integrity was the resignation of David Cameron. If he had stayed put instead of behaving like a disappointed child he could have made sense of the Referendum vote and saved the U K from years of utter chaos.

  14.  @jasonuren3479  The MP's who did not support Brexit were concerned that the Voters had been given a misleading picture by Boris and his supporters.May I suggest that they were in fact trying to protect Democracy which ought to be based on facts rather than wishful thinking. The proof of the Brexit pudding remains clouded in uncertainty because the Politicians keep giving inaccurate figures in respect of economic performance . I am open minded at the moment because the EU are behaving like enemies and it is unedifying to see this from sensible Statesmen .

  27. @stephenbarden6121  Heseltine was implementing Government policy and I am sorry to have to tell you that many people actually supported Thatcher .One of my friends was living in a Council House in a London suburb and she managed to buy it at a very low price ; she was extremely grateful to Thatcher and her Government .It was in effect a way of buying the votes of those who were natural Labour supporters . What made it worse is that the local Councils could not use the money from the sales to build new homes and that is what has created today's crazy housing market .

  43.  @mikeserridge4547  Wouldn't it be a good idea if Government did not play tricks on voters but actually told the truth .For example why didn't Boris admit he is a bit of a lush and a party animal even during lock down instead of pretending he didn't realise he had attended more than a dozen parties.

  46. We say no to pay to win it has been Tory strategy to reduce the support to local councils for many years .People do not notice that the councils are forced into taking unpopular decisions because of Government budget cuts .It is a very sneaky tactic and has cost Labour a lot of support.

  49.  @junglie  the Councils are f*** because the grants received from Westminster keep being reduced while statutory responsibilities keep being landed on the Councils. We complain about Council tax but we want our roads mended and our bins emptied.
