  2.  @babajikaghanta8842  the US was able to take every major town in Afghanistan in just a few weeks, and occupy the country for 20 years with just 2000 casualties. The taliban spent 20 years hiding in caves, and were only able to return because the US got bored with it and left. While russia can't even take Bakhmut, a town close to their own borders...
