EU did that back in February. But it takes time to ramp up production, so this aid from the US is very important.

@johnadam2885 Chasiv Yar is 2 km from Bakhmut, which russia occupied a year ago. That is how slow the russian progress is. So it is kinda hard to believe the Ukrainian army is destroyed... The current number of men in Ukraine who could be mobilized is around 3,7 million. That number does not include men under the age of 27.

don't worry, the EU is doing it's part as well. EU has still donated more than the US, as we should. Ukraine needs support from both the US and EU.
