@Memovox yeah there is no mystery there. Russia cut the gas supply to Germany about a month before the pipeline was damaged. Remember?

@leonardoorellano6652 the compressor was repaired, but russia refused delivery. And Gazprom even stated on tvitter that Nordstream 1 would be closed until sanctions were lifted.
